33414: the heart of Wellington

When people say Wellington, they usually mean 33414. It covers the large majority of the village, including Town Center and the Wellington Amphitheater, the Mall at Wellington Green area, most of Forest Hill Blvd and Wellington Trace, Village Park, and the equestrian district around South Shore Blvd, Pierson Road and the Wellington International showgrounds. The National Polo Center on 120th Avenue South also has a 33414 address.

33414 is home to most of Wellington's public schools, including Wellington High School, Wellington Landings Middle, Emerald Cove Middle and several elementary schools, which is a big reason homes here are in demand.

33449: southern Wellington

33449 covers southern and southwestern Wellington along and below Lake Worth Road. It tends to have larger lots, gated communities and a more rural, spacious feel, with plenty of equestrian properties. Addresses here may use Wellington or Lake Worth as the mailing city, even when the home is inside village limits. Polo Park Middle School and Panther Run Elementary are in this area.

33467: the southeastern edge

33467 is a large ZIP code that mostly covers suburban Lake Worth west of the turnpike, and a portion of southeastern Wellington falls inside it. If you are searching listings in 33467, double-check whether a property is actually inside the Village of Wellington, since that affects things like local services and village parks access.

33411: shared with Royal Palm Beach

33411 mostly serves Royal Palm Beach and parts of suburban West Palm Beach, but a few areas on Wellington's eastern and northern edges use it. Palm Beach Central High School on Forest Hill Blvd, for example, has a Wellington 33411 address.

Nearby ZIP codes you will see

33470 covers Loxahatchee and Loxahatchee Groves just north and west of Wellington, home to Lion Country Safari and larger rural properties. It is not part of the village, but many Wellington residents shop, ride and visit there.

Why your ZIP code (and city name) matters

  • Schools: ZIP codes do not decide school zones. Your exact address does, so always check it with the School District of Palm Beach County. See our Wellington schools guide.
  • Village limits: A Lake Worth mailing address can still be inside Wellington, and a Wellington ZIP can occasionally sit outside it. If it matters to you, check the property with the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser.
  • Insurance and taxes: Rates depend on the exact property, flood zone and taxing districts, not just the ZIP code.
  • Deliveries: Both Wellington and the USPS-preferred city name for your ZIP will usually work, but use the one on your official records.
