Equestrian venue
The showgrounds at the center of Wellington's winter season and home of the Winter Equestrian Festival. For thirteen weeks each winter, show jumpers, hunters and equitation riders from across the United States and dozens of countries compete here, and spectators can watch much of the action.
Polo venue
The United States Polo Association's flagship venue, set on roughly 161 acres with seven tournament fields. Sunday polo during the winter season is a Wellington tradition, and the clubhouse hosts dining and private events.
Nature preserve
A roughly 30 acre wetland preserve tucked into the back of Village Park, with about 1,500 feet of elevated boardwalk and a one mile trail. It is one of the best free birdwatching spots in Palm Beach County, with herons, wading birds and the occasional alligator.
Nature preserve
A 365 acre preserve at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Everglades Habitat on the western edge of the village, with paved trails and a six story observation tower overlooking the Everglades landscape. Wide open and quiet, it is great for long walks and family bike rides.
Outdoor venue
The village's outdoor stage at Wellington Town Center, hosting concerts, movie nights, food truck events and seasonal festivals. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and make an evening of it by the lake.
Shopping mall
Wellington's regional shopping mall on State Road 7, with department stores, national retailers, restaurants and entertainment under one roof. The surrounding Wellington Green area is one of the busiest dining corridors in the village.
Drive-through safari park
A drive-through safari park a short drive north of Wellington, where you tour animal habitats from your own car, then park for a walk-through area with rides, animal encounters and a water play zone. A classic day out for families.
New American
An upscale New American restaurant near Wellington Green with a full bar and outdoor seating, and one of the most talked about dinner spots in the village.
Italian
A family owned Italian spot known for fresh pasta and a lively, busy dining room. A local go-to for date nights and family dinners alike.
